Another St. Jude thread - please come in and read! We need to get the word around!

All those who have prayed to St. Jude before… remember that you promise to make his name known… here’s another chance to do so, so that hopefully more people will pray for the intercession of St Jude and can be helped in their desperate times.

For those of you who don’t know, St Jude is the patron saint of lost causes, desparate cases, etc. People pray for his intercession in times of need. Give it a try!

I prayed for St. Jude’s help when I was failing a subject at uni and it was getting me down something terrible, I thought I was going to just drop my degree. Miraculously, I ended up getting a good enough mark in my final exam to narrowly pass the subject (final result 54) (-: St. Jude is awesome! That’s my testimony anyway, please share yours.

There are several prayers to St. Jude but this one is a Novena Prayer to be prayed for 9 consecutive days. (This is the prayer I prayed).

Oh Holy St Jude, Apostle and Martyr,
great in virtue and rich in miracles, near
kinsman of Jesus Christ, faithful intercessor
of all who invoke your special help in time of
need. To you I have recourse from the depth
of my heart and humbly request assistance.
Help me in my present and urgent petition.
In return, I promise to make your name
known and cause you to be invoked.

You pray that prayer then make your petition.

Then you say three Our fathers, three hail Marys,
and three Glorias.

Thankyou Flopfoot,

I knew of St. Jude, but did not know he was patron of lost, desperate causes.
 
St. Jude ROCKS. I was working on a paper that is worth a good chunk of my grade - I amassed far too much research and was overwhelmed by it all. I basically gave up on writing the rough draft and basically considered myself toast on it. As a last ditch effort, I let St. Jude deal with it. 3 hours later, I had an 11 page paper - and it has yet to be finished.

Fast AND efficient! Go St. Jude!

The final draft is due in a couple weeks, so I’m still letting St. Jude deal with it. If I do well this semester - that will be a real miracle!

I’ve got an issue that I’ve been taking to many of my heavenly friends, may as well let St Jude have a go as well 🙂
