Another surgery, possibly two

So the NAPRO Doctor was shocked that it was back. I guess I’m a really abnormal case. 🤷 He is going to do yet another Endometriosis removal surgery (#4.) If he finds extensive bowel Endometriosis, then I will have to have a follow up surgery for that. Waiting for a call back, said it was going to be later in August most likely as he is super booked up. I’m taking Hydrocodone for pain until then. Yay me. :o

I’m feeling very sad for you. I wish that this didn’t have to happen…

I’m sorry it’s back, but I’m glad that they know the reason for your pain and that they have a treatment plan. (((((hugs and prayers)))))

Wow! Praying for you… that this surgery does what you need it to do (and if possible, that an opening comes up before the end of August!)

You’ve got the endometriosis from you know where! I’m so sorry this is happening to you! I’m praying for you, that you’ll get some relief from this soon!
 
I am starting to think purgatory is for real – but you, dear Convert, are suffering it while on earth. 😦 You have my prayers. I also do wonder if a second opinion in this situation might not be a good idea, though I do understand if you don’t have the resources to do that.

I do know of two of my mothers’ friends who suffered from endometriosis and both did undergo surgery, though I’m not sure exactly what it involved. But I do recall my mother expressing thanks to God when it turned out one of her friends did NOT wind up requiring removal of parts of her intestines at surgery, as this was something that had been considered a possibility.

I don’t think either of those women did anything to deserve what happened to them and neither do I think that for you. Again, I am amazed by the charity and kindness you continue to give to others, in the midst of your pain.

I have had second opinions. They all said this was the way to go. I also had a scare as they thought they’d have to remove part of my colon. Thankfully they were able to shave the Endometriosis off the outside of my colon, and non had actually penetrated the colon. 🙂
