Dear Friends,
Thank you for your prayers last month - I’d asked for all of you to pray for my husband to find a job.
Well, neither one of us still has a job BUT the funny part is, we’ve LISTENED to God (instead of barking at Him with our pleas), and we are ready to sell our house and move to another part of the country.
Why is this important?
Bc we have been reminded that He is in charge, not us. He knows better than we do what’s good for us, and we must always yield to His will. So instead of shoehorning our desires to maintain the status quo, we have given ourselves over to His guidance, and we have true peace.
Our monthly expenses will be much, much lower.
Our quality of life will not change, but improve.
Job opportunities are plentiful.
Yes, will will miss family and friends. But this is the right thing and we know it.
So, when you think you have been ignored, just remember - sometimes He says Yes, or No… or, Wait. Give your petitions over to God and allow Him to govern your life. You won’t be disappointed!

Thank you so much for sharing your post. It hit home with me. I am in a position where I will need to sell my house (my wife and I are separated). I am scared…really don’t want to but my heart tells me it’s the right thing to do. Fear plays on the mind…it’s terrible. I really try to tell myself to trust in God…let him do whatever he wants and I know it’ll all work out for the best which is his way. It’s that “letting go” that’s the toughest part.

I am and will be praying for you. If you could offer a prayer for my family and I in return…I would love that.
