Other then prayer, there is not much else you can do for people like this x-“priest”. He studied the Truth in the True Church and yet he still turned his back on all that Jesus left us in a Church. His heart is hardened and although its not impossible for God to soften it, its a mighty difficult task for us. Just keep praying for those like this man. Keep planting the seeds of truth.

Well, I’d start by distinguishing the “Biblical Mary” from the “Fundamentalist Mary.” The “Biblical Mary” was without sin, the New Eve, the Ark of the New Covenant, the Mother of all Christians and the Queen of Heaven. The “fundamentalist Mary” was an ordinary pious woman. The “Biblical Mary” already had been saved, while the “fundamentalist Mary” was not. The “Biblical Mary” was a perpetual virgin while the “fundamentalist Mary” bore other children.

Next, I’d clarify Catholic belief since the author is confused. Jesus is the only person to ever ascend to heaven. Mary didn’t ascend (rise by one’s own power). Rather, Mary was assumed (passively taken) into heaven, as were Enoch and Elijah before her. Mary is the mediatrix of graces, not the mediatrix of God’s justice.

That about covers it. There’s nothing new here, really.
 
I glanced over it…wasn’t too impressed. Pretty much your garden variety anti-Catholic rant, nothing new. Full of straw man arguments, intentional misrepresentations as to what the Church actually teaches, and a clear lack of solid research …quite indicative of the intellectual dishonesty that bespeaks this crowd. They begin with a conclusion and look for “sources” to prop them up as “proof.” He conveniently doesn’t engage the thought of respected Catholic apologists who have answered his accusations and ones similar to them ad nauseum. Yawn!

That’s just that particular article…

Poked around the rest of the main site, looked at some of his other articles. It’s obvious that this fellow and his associates have an axe to grind and are clearly unreasonable people. Reading some of their rants, it reminds me of that stereotypical crazy uncle everybody has in their extended family (“whatever you do, don’t get 'em on ‘that’ subject!”).

Also reminds me of that line from the Terminator: “Listen. And understand. That terminator is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead!”

Yeah, but at least the Terminators made an effort to obtain accurate information.

I agree. Divine Revelation consists in both the teachings of the Catholic Church and in Sacred Scripture as interpreted by the Catholic Church. He has rejected Divine Revelation itself.

This seems appropriate: 1 Sam 8: 7 "The LORD said to Samuel, "Listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being king over them. "

By rejecting the authority of Christ’s Church, they rejects God’s kingship over them.
 
Is true that he was a former Jesuit. After the Alberto Rivera fiasco I would love to know if is true.
