The Church says that we have a sexual attraction. Never are we to call people, eg homosexuals or heterosexuals. If I understand it correctly, the Church says that we are our bodies (not we have a body). So we are our bodies but not our attractions?
What does the Church really teach about this? Are there any writings about this? I know about the 1986 letter by Cardinal Ratzinger on sexuality.
