On a harsher note, I’m reminded of the “Whore of Babylon” in Revelation…

Hi everyone, I want to talk to you about something…

Online, I saw the “testimony” of “Angelica Zambrano” a Protestant girl who claimed to have a “Near Death Experience” in which she saw people (relatives and celebrities) and one of them was Pope John Paul II

There was another testimony by a girl named ''Janet Balderas Canela" another Protestant girl who saw a vision of Mary commanding Catholics not to “worship” her, saying she can’t save them and stuff like that.

I don’t what to make of this honestly, what is your opinion on this?
U-huh and I also had a near death experience and saw Billy Graham and those two people you mentioned. Do you believe me? Pleeaassee! :doh2:

What about these revelations of Pelly here, I confess, I’m starting to feel nervous.

Can somebody answer to pelly??

Satan loves to confuse, I would think, especially in a “near death” experience. People are fascinated by such stuff, drawn in, hoping for a clue to the after life. God gave us all the guidelines we need in the Ten Commandments and the guidance of the Catholic Church, and we have no requirements to analyze or even pay attention to such “mysterious messages” . Spiritual maturity and our state in the afterlife is much more dependent upon whether we do the will of God in the ordinary “now” of our every day life.
Love the Chesterton quotes - truly he is the Apostle of Common Sense.

I don’t put much stock in anyone’s “near death experiences” in which they claim to see people who have passed on or have gotten private revelations out of these experiences. I would be cautious even if the person reporting them is Catholic but I would especially be cautious if the person is not Catholic.

Not that I believe this girls story or not but there is nothing anti-Catholic at Mary commanding people to not worship her And if any Catholic thinks their salvation can come through Mary, then they are not catechized properly. If what this girl said was just a hidden shot at Catholics, she did a terrible job at it 😛

People can hallucinate when close to death. I think people should always take thing like that into consideration. There are also drug addicts who also claim to have spiritual experiences while high as a kite on drugs. And some people are just straight up liars. I feel it takes nothing away from God if I just approach things like those type of stories with a “whatever” attitude and don’t take it too seriously.

Also she said MJ fans are in Hell and MJ himself is Hell for making pacts.

It repeats a lot of claims and says Angelica’s experience is valid. Also, she claims Catholics are idolatrous and the Beast is already here. I know that JW is a cult but this is troubling.
Also this:
eternal-destinations.blogspot.hu/2013/12/zipora-bitrus-testimony-of-heaven-and.html
The blog admin claims he saw white things at some points in the video, thus affirming its’ veracity.
eternal-destinations.blogspot.hu/2013/12/linda-ngaujah-revelation-of-heaven-and.html
And the one pointed by the previous. Contains anti-Catholicism and claims that we are witches and evil.
eternal-destinations.blogspot.hu/2013/12/visitation-of-jesus-to-samuel-oghenetaga.html
Like the prevoius one. Claims JPII is in Hell.
Can you help me?
The westboro Baptists claim pretty much everyone is going to hell except them and people who believe exactly what they believe. Do you believe them too?

I have to dig this up:
there is somebody called Chris LaSala who claims that movies, video games, etc. can come with demons that affect those who watch/play with them (recurring element in Protestant revelations). When I was reading his post about deliverance, the text became glitchy upon scrolling. Does that mean that I’m surrounded by demons?
I was looking for a very dubious “pontifical tweet” when I heard about him on this site. According to some commenters, those youth ministries that welcome anime and horror movies are corrupt. The Catholic Answers store does sell manga. Does that mean the CA is corrupt or by extension, Catholicism is false?
