It is where one fundamentalist religion is still sure they are the only ones with the correct answers for salvation.
 
I am an Evangelical Christian (non-catholic), and I would avoid that site!

A post on another thread quoted from a website called reformation.org.
I visited this website and found the most hateful, anti-Catholic articles I have ever seen. It makes Jack Chick look almost mild.
I suggest others have a look to find out just what some people are saying about our Church.
It is so hateful and its claims are so extraordinary that I wonder if we need to post replies to the claims made or simply ignore them.

I got confused and thought you guys were talking about reformed.org which is not the same thing at all. Even though its non-C I think its a good source on Calvinism.

Putting our head in a hole does not solve a problem or make it go away.

These anti-Catholics have invented creative lies about Christs Church that are effective and are leading good people with little knowledge away from Christ. Are children get lied to in Colledge or at work and then leave the Church without ever knowing the truth.

We must learn the lies so we can tell others how the lies are formed and how to prove them wrong. Martin Luther helped to schism millions and millions away from Christs Church with his “have it your way at Burger King” theology. If those souls with little foundation had known the truth the DE-formation might never have happened.

I am an example of a Craddle Catholic who was led astray by the easy ‘feel good now buffet line’ theology of Protestant sects. After 27 years lost in Protestant lies I finally found the truth. The truth was where I least expected to find it, it was in the Catholic Church. I don’t what my children or yours to believe the lies their Protestant ‘brothers and sisters’ spew out to them. I want our kids to know what Catholics believe and why. I want them to know what lies will be hurled at them in advance so they will be prepared to laugh at the lies and have the proof at hand to show our Protestant brothers in Scripture how the lies are proven false by Gods word.

I have actually gone to Baptist Churches where the EX-Catholics told me they never heard ONE verse from the Scripture during mass! They said it with a straight face too! Lost sheep believe these lies because they never knew what they heard in mass in fact came from Scripture. God gave us the King James Bible and all others are false. The Catholics added 7+ books to Scripture. Emporer Constitine founded the Catholic Church in 313 A.D. and was the first Pope. Romans says we are saved by faith alone. Our souls sleeps when we die until Jesus comes back. Etc… Teach our kids and brothers and sisters these lies and how to refute them BEFORE they encounter them. We carry a spare tire in our cars but we fail to educate. Knowledge is our best defense and offense. Knowledge brings us Faith and leads us to Rome!

I thank God for the people at Catholic Answers that they are actively fighting for the faith and are ready to defend it with sound teaching from Scripture, Tradition and history. We Catholics must know our faith and be ready to defend it.

I teach in a Catholic School and I am shocked by the lack of knowledge of the teachings of the Church among the staff and even more shocked by the contempt in which these teachings are held by people who call themselves Catholics. I hear some of what these teachers say to the children during Religion lessons and it is disturbing. They are not afraid to criticise and even ridicule the Church’s teachings.
We need Catholics who know, believe and will defend their faith, just as so many fundamentalist Protestants do.

Cabotia? Pope John Paul II elected by the Pentagon (!)? Now I’ve heard everything! They may sound pretty credible to uneducated ears until you probably get to the Cabotia thing (read: “Columbus was a fraud”).

Correct me if I’m wrong, but is modern anti-Catholic fundamentalism an American brand of Christianity? It seems that most anti-Catholic stuff originates in the United States, and a lot of them always seem to include something about the United States. Anyone confirm or disprove?
