Good Afternoon

I am a 57 year old divorced protestant. Been divorced since 2008 after a 26 year marriage from which Ive been blessed with 3great children all who are grown up.

I am dating a very nice lady in her late 40’s who has never been married and is a devout Catholic. It is very important to her to married in her church and I want to do what ever would make her happy.

She was told by a friend who is a priest that chances of me ever being granted an annulment based upon my facts are very thin.

We have no plans to ever have any children.
Before my divorce my ex-wife and my self slept in separate bedrooms for quite a few years.

Do I have any chance of obtaining an annulment so I can make her happy or am I out of luck.

Thanks for any advice you can provide.

No one can say whether or not an annulment will be granted without examining the evidence. I would recommend making an appointment with a local Catholic priest and sitting down to discuss your situation. The most reasonable place to start would be with your girlfriend’s parish priest.
