I suffer from anxiety under the best of circumstances but tomorrow I have contract deadline for small business venture to generate more income (because I can’t have regular job b/c of anxiety) and one person who I contracted to do some due diligence has not given me their report yet because they had illness in family. I am feeling even more anxiety about whether to pursue or abandon this venture.
In addition lately have been reminiscing/feeling sad about family members who have passed away and missing them (grandmother 2004, mother 2008,father 2011). And my peeptek cat is still recovering from acute kidney injury.
I am just feeling overwhelmed and in need of prayers.
Also some small household items have become lost/misplaced and this adds to general anxiety. I think it is possible my other bp orange cat took them because he was running around with reducing plumbing fitting he found on workbench the other day. So need prayers to St. Anthony as well.

I’ve asked God to help you and grant you peace. I also pray that he help you with your upcoming business dealings. I suffer from anxiety, too, and it’s a bumpy ride sometimes. But, we have to remember Jesus Christ is always there.
 
Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, and especially those for whom we pray.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on our behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience in their sufferings and resignation to your divine will.

Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and cure they so desire.

Miracles waited on your word, which you were always ready to request for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for JLD, physical, mental and spiritual health; resolution to the problems in business; a swift recovery for Peeptek; and the restoration of lost items. The answer to my prayer may require a miracle. Even so, you are the Saint of Miracles. Gentle and loving Saint Anthony, whose heart is ever full of human sympathy, take my petition to the Infant Savior for whom you have such a great love, and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours. Amen.
 
Trust in Our loving Lord. Lay all your cares upon Him. He loves you as His child and will take your fears away, as any loving human father would try to do - but Jesus can.
The Blessed Julian said “All will be well…”. Ask her to intercede for you that God will grant you peace of mind.
I’m praying hard for you in your anxiety and distress.

Thank you all for prayers to date - they are appreciated. However, things in general are seeming worse - compounded by fact several people are acting strange towards me 😦
 
Hello, I have been out of the loop since I went out of town and came back with a stomach virus.

I’m very sorry people are acting strange towards you. Please understand that some might actually be trying to help you (although I don’t know the circumstances at all), but that everyone speaks from their own unique frame of reference. I for instance always tell people who find themselves where you are – and I once was – to ask God every day to show you the way through Jesus Christ, His Son, our Lord, and that’s because it worked for me it changed my life.

I also recommend talking to Him because He always hears your pleas. However, it could be that to you this doesn’t mean much. Do you know what I’m trying to say? What works for one might not be accepted by another because we’re not clones, but unique human beings.

Hang in there please. Do you have one person who you could confide in and trust enough to help them guide you? Maybe this has already been talked about, but since I’m still suffering from my stomach virus, I wasn’t able to go back and read other replies, including my own.
