Anxious about son's surgery tomorrow

May I ask for your prayers for my little boy’s surgery tomorrow? I’m filled with anxiety about the whole procedure, though it is a very common procedure in children, done as an outpatient. I worry of possible human errors that could and should be preventive, especially in the operating room. I pray for the surgeon and his staff to be focused and attentive of everything they do throughout their day. I pray for quick recovery and strength during my son’s healing process. Please include our family, most especially our precious little boy, in your thoughts and prayers today. He means the world to us and I thank The Lord everyday for the wonderful gift he has blessed us with. We are honored to be entrusted in caring for His precious child. Thank you and may you all be blessed as you set forth on your journey today. May you touch someone’s life today through the Holy Spirit.

Please Lord, give comfort and strength to this child in his surgery tomorrow. Bless and guide the hands and hearts of all involved with his care. Bless his family with strength and trust and comfort their fears. I ask all this in Your Holy name. Amen.

O Jesus Christ, Messiah and Lord, grant me joyful acceptance of the surgery which awaits me, and let this be the relief and cure which I seek. Make skilled the work of the surgeon and that of his team for it is unto their knowledge and skill that I give myself for healing. I pray You, O Lord, that this procedure will be without complication, and that my recovery will be speedy and complete.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
