Anxious for my wedding (seeking shameless pics)

My wedding is swiftly approaching and I am so ready for it to be here so I can finally become my fiance’s wife. I’ve been looking on a wedding website and looking through pics but I thought it would be super fun to see all of your beautiful wedding pictures!

I wish I had my own to post but I am perfectly content to see other weddings 😃 so…Please share!

Oooh! I love showing off my wedding pics! I have one in my siggy, but here is another one, and I might even post more when I’m on my home computer where they’re all stored. 😛

My dress was $80 shipped off ebay. Dad made our cake, I went to the local photographers studio for family/wedding party photos and got copies of everyones digital photos from the reception. Flowers were under $200 (bridal bouquet and matron of honor… 2 bouts for the groom and best man) Cake roses were from Sam’s Club.

DH and I grilled steak for the 40 people we invited to the wedding. We had twice baked taters, steak, good salad and focaccia bread. My brother works for a microbrewery and gave us a keg of our favorite for our wedding.

Total bill for everything including food, our rings and photographer: under $5000

Then I had my mother make my baby’s baptismal gown from my wedding dress:

If you don’t mind my asking…where did you purchase your gown/who is the designer? I have a friend who is looking for a dress and your seems to have a lot of what she wants! Thanks.
 
Mine’s actually “one-of-a-kind”. It used to be strapless, but I realized that I felt uncomfortable with the amount of cleavage showing and had a top and straps added on by a seamstress. She does make dresses that have straps as well though, which is what I looked off of when showing the seamstress what I wanted.
Follow this link sophiatolli.com/index.html and go to where to buy at the top. Then I would just go to the store and see what they have! I bought my dress in like June 07.

Here I am with a bolero jacket for the Nuptial Mass. The dress originally came with a short sleeve bolero jacket and a shawl, so I had the shawl used to make 3/4 length sleeves for the jacket:) I love red roses, so that was the main flower. My colors were wine and platinum/silver.

I think I mentioned this to you in another thread…maybe the long conversation thread? I love your pics…they look like something out of a magazine…really, very different…and fun…like you’re both so free and fun–beautiful!🙂
 
I put this accidentally in the other wedding dress thread…😊

Probably more appropriate to share my “story” here…

My dh and I never had a wedding…we were planning it, family got in the way:shrug: …wanted to run everything–we decided to elope.

Then, several years and 2 kids later, had our wedding blessed in the Church, so I didn’t wear white at that point. lol 😉

Here is the type of dress I had in mind…I had always wanted something simple and elegant…and I was a size 4 back then, pre babies…so it would have worked out quite nicely. lol 😛 I wonder if it would be dumb for hubby and me to buy what we would have chosen had we had a wedding…and get photos done? He asked me about that recently–what do you think? Just photos for us to have and cherish?

That would be so much FUN! While you’re at it and all dressed up, may as well throw a party, right?

You’re right–why not? 🙂 We had a small party at a nice restaurant in PA, with family. I would very much like to have one here in Florida…I wouldn’t want people to feel they need to bring gifts. We have been legally married for going on 18 years…lol

Well, I could use a cappucino maker, but other than that…no gifts.😃

At the very least–I think the photos would be so neat…and include the kids too? Yes no?
 
I love sharing wedding pics. It’s always fun to see what other people looked like on their wedding day!
