I second Valdeer’s book choice and methodology. Evert’s book is a must have for those who wish to engage in apologetics with JW proslytizers.

there is a JW at my work trying to convert me. Ever since he started this, I have began reading and memorizing a lot of scripture so that I could rebut his falsities. any advice here?
Hi There,

JW are hard to convince you are best to ask him to refrain from talking about his faith, however if you are a Catholic as i suppose you might be, you could check out this link for truthful answers gotquestions.org/Catholic-Biblical.html

Good luck and God bless you

Hi
You don’t have to memorize anything, it is good if you read.
Just ask them to quote **straight passages ** from the OTBible on the topic being discussed for the **Claim **and then for the **Reason ** they would be restricted. This is my experience with them. Truth has to be accepted, nevertheless.

Tell him you intend to spend more of your time looking into your own Faith. Had I done this I would have averted a lot of doubts, confusion and turmoil. I wish I would have spent as much time studying Catholicism as I did Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Tell him you are a Christian and then show him from the Bible Jonn 1=1 and tell him he is reading from the most corrup Bible in the world. JW are a cult. Tell him to leav you alond
