Any advice Ladies?

Hi, um this is kind of embarrassing but I have recently been trying to become more devout in my Catholic faith in the past year. I have been reading a lot on chastity because that is a weakness for me and I want to have a strong foundation. I have never had sex but I was reading some of the post’s on here about virginity and something came to mind.

I use tampons and I don’t know if I have broken my hymen or not. But if tampon usage has broken my hymen does that mean I’m no longer considered a virgin, or will my future husband not be able to tell I’m a virgin on our wedding night?

I’m apologize if this is TMI. I’m just curious, and most of the people on this site seem to be very open, honest, and genuine.

Tampons are not sexual.

Of course, there was one poster round these parts who claimed they were… wonder when she will flap in?
 
One has to have sex to lose their virginity. Tampons don’t count.
 
That particular part of your anatomy being in tact is not an indication of virginity. It can be broken doing gymnastics, horseback riding, or other sorts of activities beyond sexual contact. I’m sure there are many virgins on their wedding night who are not intact
 
Just too add, after a couple weeks of marriage you husband would be able to look back and know that you were a virgin on your wedding night. (I suppose if he is “more experienced” he might know that night), but there aren’t necessarily very obvious signs that you are a virgin besides your own discomfort.

I used tampons well before I had sexual intercourse and it did not do anything to my anatomy. I heard however from a friend that she broke her hymen while horseback riding.
Well I am married now and a little more experienced so I guess… well how can I say it without being too straight forward? Well he will definitely feel that you are a virgin.
Why am I so worried about my expressions? Nothing bad about the words… well I am just going to write it anyway: You’ll be rather tight and he’ll know.

So. I said it.
 
And some virgin brides need to go to the doctor for a hymenectomy on their honeymoon. Tampons are much too small to damage you.

What I was trying to say (probably not very well :p) was that if the husband does not have any “experience” he probably won’t know the difference until later, when it becomes easier and the wife is not so “tight” because he will not have anything to base it off of, he would just know that it is a little difficult and uncomfortable for his wife.
