I’ve been playing Black Ops for the past couple weeks, and am enjoying it, aside from rage-quitting earlier this evening, thanks to those lowlifes who do better than me
:takethat: . Any other ones you’d suggest?
Morality-wise, I think it’s on the tamer side of the video game market (there are some that are downright satanic). I think of it more like virtual G.I. Joes or Paintball. Nearest occasion of sin is probably the temptation to let expletives fly during multiplayer (pray to St Michael before every sessionI have all of the COD games, yet I find it borderline sinful to participate in virtual murder for pleasure. I play these games for the storyline.
But NEW GUNS! AND GRAPHICS!I don’t really care about the hype people do when a new COD game comes out.
I’m just want to get Modern Warfare 2 and that’s it.

I play games with some of the poorest graphics and lamest guns and still have a blastBut NEW GUNS! AND GRAPHICS!
But I agree. Time for Activision/Treyarch/Infinity Ward to either come up with something new or discontinue the series.
I agree. If you look it up, Black Ops is actually chock-full of anachronisms. A lot of weapons, equipment, and vehicles in it weren’t invented until the '70s or '80s.I loved Call of Duty 3, especially online multiplayer. A friend of mine and I played that for hours back then. Just thinking about COD3 makes me nostalgic about my teen years. I liked World at War too, maybe it’s because I like WW2-themed games.
Did anyone else feel the stories were beginning to get pretty ridiculous (even by videogame standards) with Black Ops? Conspiracy theories about the Kennedy assassination, being hypnotized by a dead guy? Anyway, since that one I’ve drifted toward Battlefield, mainly because I’m mainly interested in playing online nowadays.
