Correct. Philadelphia also claims Poe. He lived in Philly for about 5 years , which were arguably his most productive. He did write “The Raven” there.

I, too, had to memorize “Annabel Lee” for sophomore year English with Sister Marie Dorothy 😃 , but I have a special fondness for “The Gold Bug”. I guess I like the puzzles and codes in the story.
 
Those Vincent Price movies based on Poe’s short stories and poems are collector’s items. Apart from the popular Raven, I love his Ulalume.
