I’m a cradle Episcopalian.
I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have the best I can.

Forced participation? Do you mean having to go to Mass every Sunday? TEC canons state that people should attend church every Sunday/on a regular basis, as well as keep the Sabbath holy. (I’m paraphrasing).no. my other issue is the forced participation of church in the RCC as well as parts of the RCC’s natural law, particularly masturbation.
Yes, but you would still be committing a mortal sin by missing Mass. And on top of that, even when you went ti an Episcopal service, you’d be committing a mortal sin!but they don’t make it a mortal sin to miss church.
Prayers for your discernment. May God keep you in his Catholic Church. This is the Church founded by Christ.i don’t believe in the church’s homosexual thing anymore. it’s hateful, not all homosexual acts are wrong.
I know I live in a small country town and don’t get out much with a 18 month old but just how many kinds of homosexual acts are there?i don’t believe in the church’s homosexual thing anymore. it’s hateful, not all homosexual acts are wrong.

Well, you can believe what you want. People sometimes believe wrong ideas. The reason is easy: because we are all fallible, our opinions, reasonings, etc, can be fallible. The consideration is: I don’t believe this, but that thing that I don’t believe is correct or only my fallible interpretation…i don’t believe in the church’s homosexual thing anymore. it’s hateful, not all homosexual acts are wrong.
Darius was a king who tried to put Daniel to death by throwing him into a den of lions.well, i’m not gay but the bible does have instances of gay relationships on a positive note. for example, daniel and darius, the two angels at sodom and gomorrah.
This is a very important point, and one that is going to have to be fought hard in the near future. Those against homosexual acts are now labeled with a medical mental illness (homophobia) and called bigots. This is dangerous because it will cause a lot of the western population to become disenfranchised with society.Disagreeing with someone’s lifestyle doesn’t automatically mean you ‘hate’ that person. The two are not mutually exclusive.
So what do you think it means then? How can you say Christ didn’t start the church when it’s His own words and spirit that told Peter to do so? I’m thinking you have a lot doubt(s)but here’s the thing: the church wasn’t founded by christ, but by peter, and who knows what christ REALLY meant by “upon this rock i will build my church”?
It’s actually very different. The services may seem similar at times but overall they are very different, not just in their differences in Homosexuality.the TEC is almost very much like the RCC anyway.
Can you support this claim? If you don’t believe the Church was founded by Jesus then any other topic (homosexuality, etc) is peccata minuta. If I didn’t believe that Jesus founded His Church, the episcopalian church or any other church would be irrelevant for me for the same reason. Do you believe that Jesus founded the Episcopalian Church? Was Peter?but here’s the thing: the church wasn’t founded by christ, but by peter, and who knows what christ REALLY meant by “upon this rock i will build my church”?
