My saint is St Therese of the Child Jesus.

I just get this feeling that she chose me of some sort. I felt she chose me since I never intentionally chose her until these experiences…

I was in my first day of review for my board when the facilitators showed a video clip of the St. Therese of the Child Jesus morning prayer. I get the feeling that she was so present that moment because it really left me dazzled. I feel in my soul she wants me to come to her. (I was ignorant of devotions at that time so I didn’t quite mind)

Second was when I became friends with a priest who was a devotee of St. Therese of the Child Jesus and he introduced me to the Little way.

Third (what really made me listen to her) was when a friend of mine gave me the 24 beads of St. Therese last Christmas. It was special because it was actually an heirloom from my friend’s grandma…so wow…No matter where I place that bead it never gets lost.

Until now I do not understand why she chose me and I’ve never been so fond of her (perhaps because I’ve never had a sister) but it’s as if she’s wooing me.I feel loved by this saint. She never gives up.

My second saint is Padre Pio. This time I really chose him. I became an instant devotee of him after watching his movie.

I really wonder why despite my fondness for other saints such as St. Ignatius, Francis of Assisi, St Augustine and the rest during prayer, it’s St Therese and Padre Pio’s presence that I feel so much. I also feel that they are really the ones who are interceding for me.

Do saints also choose whom to intercede? do you have intercessory experiences from particular saints? share them:)

Another title to this post could be: Do you believe in ghosts?

Don’t let your imagination get the best of you.

Pax Christi.

It is a clear Church teaching that the Saints intercede gor us; I believe it happens every day.

We must not let skepticism get the best of us.

God bless.

The Holy Spirit can and does place us where we need to be…according to the will of God.

Saints are not ghosts.
Be at peace.

Insofar as all is ordered in accordance with Divine Providence, then yes, I would think so. The Holy Spirit is surely drawing us into deeper conversion and into a more meaningful relationship with Christ’s body, the Church.

Just last night, I had a dream about my own patron saint which is significant enough for me to certainly try to ponder more deeply. 🙂
