You’re so lucky to have the Live Aid dvd. I haven’t been able to find it. I’ve seen clips of Queen from the concert, and everyone said they were the best there.

Where did you get it? Did you have to special order it?

I got it for a Xmas gift, but it was ordered off of Amazon.Com

I also see it on the shelf at Best Buy.

Its a great set…lotta memories. And word is that Bob Geldof is considering a LIVE AID 2! 🙂

They still did that when I was in high school, and that was the early 90’s. They might still do that.

I still hear it, and other Queen songs, over the loudspeakers when I’m watching games on TV. I would not be surprised in the least if Queen made the most out of anyone in terms of royalities–it seems like every sporting event plays at least one of their songs.

I like Queen, more so when I was younger.

I saw them at the Toledo Sports Arena in 1976…or was it 77?!
anyway it was fantastic, also saw Peter Frampton there.

:clapping: :dancing: does that date me? I started liking them in the 70’s - great group (though some lyrics I would do away with if I could - I just do not listen to those that I do not like). GREAT group…

That has always made me laugh. We Are The Champions, the gay-rights theme song, being played at sporting events. :whacky:

Saw them in concert in 1977 at the Providence Civic Ctr while promoting “A Day At the Races”. A band called Thin Lizzy opened for them. Great show even though it’s difficult to reproduce their “sound” live.
