Any fans of the Punisher on here?

I love the films. Who do you think did the best at portraying The Punisher? Dolph Lundgren? Tom Jane? Or Ray Stevenson?

Do you read the comics?

The only reason I’m bring it up is because I hear Tom Hardy is interested in playing him! Has anyone heard about this? Do you think he’ll do a better job than the previous three?

I can’t help think of Tom Hardy once again playing a bad*** dispensing “permission to die” on people

I liked Thomas Jane’s portrayal the best, though I have not seen Punisher: War Zone. Although I liked Dolph Lundgren’s Punisher at the time I saw it.

Not sure how I’d feel about Tom Hardy in the role. Are we talking about the potential/if not already confirmed upcoming Netflix original series ala Daredevil?

Have you watched the short “Dirty Laundry” with Tom Jane reprising the role? It’s probably still on youtube.

I thought he did a good job in it, would like to see him get another crack at the role in a feature length film. Be warned, it’s very graphic in both violence (and language if I recall correctly)
