Any French-speaking CAF members?

I know enough to say ‘My luggage was stolen’. 😃

I took a year of French in college before spending six weeks in France during my senior year. More recently, my wife and I made a pilgrimage to Lourdes, so I tried to bone up on it a little bit. I can follow along with the mass fairly well.

I live in Tucson, AZ so I’ve picked up a little Spanish. I’m thinking of learning some more given my diocese’s relationship with Mexico and Central America. I’m thinking it might come in handy soon. It would also help with my job since I get a number of customers from Mexico.

Sorry to be late to this party - until yesterday I was in retreat and cut off from the world since July 10th…

I speak near-fluent French. Living in France obliges me to 😉 That said, I doubt I will ever be truly fluent. It’s not been an easy language to learn. The Husband is French and his English is far better than my French. And it probably always will be.
