I believe from the title of this post, that my question is pretty self-explanatory.
I am discerning a vocation to the FSSP and I thought it would be great if there was some way I could informally communicate and get to know a priest or seminarian of the FSSP as there are no FSSP parishes in my diocese or state (New Mexico).

There are many nerves and excitements when you’re discerning this kind of thing, so if you read this post, please offer a quick prayer up for me. :crossrc:

Thanks!!

I’m fairly sure that the FSSP disallows their seminarians to post to online forums. I doubt their priests have the time to do so even if their priests are not subject to the same rule.

I suggest contacting the vocations director at the FSSP seminary in Denton, NE.

ETA: there is a Diocesan Latin Mass in your area… I bet the priest at San Ignacio who does the Latin Mass could put you in contact or just help with your questions if they’re general.

Print off the forms from the site, e.g apllications etc

I know a Fraternity priest who would be willing to speak to you.

PM me if you’re interested and serious. 🙂

Just write or call them. They’re very nice guys. They’re very normal. Franciscans like them.

Fraternally,

Br. JR, FFV 🙂

Praying for you, dear brother in Christ. 🙂 I am so excited for you!! Contact the seminary and talk to them, they will be very happy to hear from you and help you. You can also contact any FSSP anywhere and ask to talk to one of their priests for guidance. God bless you!
