Any help on Calvinism, Arminianism and my confusion-ism?

I’m at a bible college but am convinced that becoming catholic is what God wants for me. Obviously,this makes this semester rather uncomfortable since I’m going to the “dark side”, The school is run by rampant calvinists and anyone who isn’t one is walking the line on their salvation. Is what they call “arminianism” compatible with catholocism?
