My parish is has a very large Mexican and Fillipino attendence. Everyone wants the Latin Mass - not just Whites. There have been Mexicans, Fillipinos, Indians, Orientals, etc at every Latin Mass I have attended, no matter where.
Posts like this won’t, they just won’t do at all:tsktsk:
I am a Filipino although I have lived in the US for many, many years. I was raised on the Traditional Mass and served at the Altar for years. And I have been told on this very forum that I am not a true Filipino, that by an expat who lives in the Phillippines, that I am out of touch with my own people and that I am possibly illogical. I have also ben told that my experiences as a young boy with the Traditional Mass are atypical, unique and probably not even completely true.

, you know seeing the past through rose colored glasses as it were.
All because I as a third world born young man actually had no problems at all, I know, unbelieveale according to some here, with the Mass and that I saw it as a unifying factor. It allowed me to assimilate much quicker because I was able to fully participate in an activity I loved, even though I didn’t speak English at all. The friends that I made from that servers group have lasted a lifetime and I cherish each day those memories of long ago days.
So I can say that in the eyes of many here you are either making these things up or are woefuly uninformed. We all know that the only, and I do mean the only people yearning for the Traditional Mass are white elitists, who are probably racists and sedevacantists to boot…
Or so they would have you believe. Of course when I brought up the fact that one of the Priests who regularly assisted and often celebrated at the Traditional Mass in San Diego was black, I was met with deafening silence, even whern I posted a photograph of him.
I guess they thought that I photoshopped it.
