My cousin and I are thinking of a way to help others in our community , especially the younger generation. My cousin knows much about theology, and would be a great benefit in teaching others. We are thinking to start a get-together once a week with girls and guys about the ages of 16 and up. But, we don’t know what kinds of topics to talk about or maybe even activities. We want to help , more than just lecture. Does anyone have any ideas?

You might try a format with a relevant topic and then guest-speakers. Then open it up for questions and discussions. Probably the best ice-breaker is to pray together first.
For me, personally, the best themes are the breakdown of faith and what we can all do to restore it, and the need for outreach to new members of the Faith.

Yea, I was planning on having guest speakers. But, how do you suggest I get new members who are not that involved in their faith?? I can get a lot of people through church and what not, but I wanted to kind of reach out to people who are not so involved and try to teach them more.

Handing out nice appealing pamplets door to door may be an idea of how to spread the word. If you could get some help from some eager youths to help in the distribution you may find you have more young people interested.
Just a thought. Best wishes to you and your cousin! This is quite a nice and chariable thing to do!
God Bless!
