Any parish or youth group participating in the Souper Bowl of Caring?

This is our fifth year. To date our smalll group has raised nearly $5000 to help the impoverished kids in our community. Last year over 8.1 million dollars were collected.

This is our first. To get even more participation, they are having a Chili making contest and will be selling quarts to take home. If you bring in cans of food, the chili is discounted.
 
Wow, what a good idea. Our Lt.Gov has invited our youth group and other youth groups to a press conference on Friday to kick off the event. He is very excited about this effort. Good luck to you! đź‘Ť
