Any parishes do anything for Halloween?

Hello all,

I know that Halloween is over and today (All Souls Day) is the last day of Allhallowstide. But there is a parish near me which did something simply of Halloween.

I’m on a parish committee, and I was thinking that next year, I think it would be nice to do something (prayer wise) for Halloween.

I was thinking about perhaps praying the Compline in the parish cemetery on Halloween. However, I know the full indulgence is for Nov 1 - 7, I been thinking that’s past time to “take Halloween back.”

Thoughts? Does your parish do anything for Halloween, if so, what?

Any Parish do anything other than the anticipated All Saints Day Mass?

I’m looking for ideas other than having an All Saints Day mass.

Last year we had a prayer service on All Soul’s Day where we could pray for anyone we wanted.

It helped me a lot with grieving for my non-believing Uncle.
