Maybe…but Rafa Benitez and Kenny Dalglish will always be revered by Liverpool fans. They did create very competitive teams. As for Kenny…he did improve the team in his second term but he was clearly lacking in ideas and knowledge this time around.
Brendan Rogers should and will be given time. If we do create a competitive team that can finish in the top 5 and maybe a good cup run then Liverpool would have done well this season. Sometimes it is the unrealistic expectations of fans that heaps more pressure on the manager…Liverpool are simply not as good as they were a few years ago…
Anyway…i just like the song…it has a spiritual aspect to it as well

I actually like and admire Liverpool’s football history a great deal. They were awesome in Europe. I hope they come back.

Mate, you know the supporters have nothing to do with that… Rafa is still rightful manager in my mind. Anything H&G did was illicit. Had no problem with NESV/FSG bringing in King Kenny, but Hodgson was a disgrace from the outset.YNWA - unless you get sacked.

I’m a Mancunian born and bred. I’m also a big Man Utd fan. Sorry to see Sir Alex retire at the end of the season, and say welcome to David Moyes. I’m not feeling well today, but seeing Wigan Athletic beating Man City 1-0 in the F.A. Cup Final has made my day. Going to Old Trafford tomorrow and watching us lift our Premier league trophy.
