any The Apprentice fans?

I’m not sure if a thread like this has been started already. I also am not sure if this belongs in the Water Cooler.

Anyway, are there any Apprentice fans? I like this season. Last week’s episode was great. My opinion is that nobody on the women’s team is good except for Toral and Marshawn. And maybe Rebecca. Everyone else on the girl’s team is annoying, and they have already started a clique.

On the men’s team, Marcus is awesome. So is Randall and Josh.

Who are your favorites?

It’s a cool show…IN MY OPINION. Phew.
 
I have watched every season. I am a reality tv junkie though.😃

I think if you ask this same question in the “Popular Media” forum you may get more replies.

I am a recent fan. My brother lent me his first season DVDs. I really like this season shows. He and I were dicussing the show on Sunday and we agreed the women are very annoying. I like the men’s team and even Markus is improving. Randall is good too. What did you think of Melissa? The first woman to be fired. BTW, this thread may be moved to Popular Media.
 
For me, it’s getting a bit tedious. We miss a lot of what goes on, but a show longer than one hour probably wouldn’t go … I think they need to do something with the format … 🙂

I don’t think that Melissa should have been fired that week. She wasn’t the reason with the loss. Chistie was. But now in this season instead of firing those resposible for the loss, Trump is firing people because the rest of the team feels that a person is the weakest link.

Take yesterday’s episode for example. Toral was not the reason for the loss. The only reason she got fired was because the arrogant clique consisting of Alla, Christie, Jennifer M., and Felicia felt that Toral was a “b*****”, and they didn’t like her, so of course they all ganged up on her in the task and in the boardroom. Even Carolyn realized that there was an inner circle, but she said nothing of it in the boardroom.

Toral should not have been fired. The Paris Hilton wanna-be, Felicia, should have been fired last night.
 
LOVE THAT SHOW! I watch that, Survivor, The George Lopez show and Commander and Chief, those are the only TV shows i just absolutely can not miss!

Oh, this is the first time I have seen the show. I’ve gotta say I really like it.

The Donald made the absolute correct choice last night in ditching Toral. She was an ineffective team member who could not get along with her teammates. Whether you like the people you work with, you still need to be able to work with them. She could not.

Plus she was adversarial even when addressing the Donald - bad move.

That’s true, but the women’s team was split into 2 groups. The clique with Alla, Christie, Jen M., and Paris Hilton. The other group was Rebecca and Toral. Marshawn is kind of neutral which is smart.
I thought that it was unfair to fire Toral because the four women clique made it a priority to get Toral fired. That was their agenda in my opinion. It was a vendetta against Toral. Toral should have brought that up and Carolyn as well.

True, but Toral is somewhat arrogant and it is hard to be sympathatic to her. I agree, there is an obvious clique there and they were kind of mean-spirited toward Toral. The one I like on the woman’s team is Rebecca…and maybe Marshawn but I’ll hold judgment on her for a bit more.

True true - they were harsh…but think real world job experience here. The ultimate point of each challenge is to push these people and see how they will work together to create an excellent product or overcome a boggling problem.

As in the real working environment, one may be in a team of difficult people to work with, yet will be required to produce. Toral just made things difficult - (plus she started embellishing when she said that she would not wear the costume due to religious reasons - which was an “after the fact” excuse since she never mentioned this in the beginning). Most employers have no use for excuses - at least none that I have experienced.

Remember the game is to get hired by the Donald. Who is probably a super demanding employer.

There are better candidates for the job than Toral.

I agree - but what should you do when your boss curses & takes the Lords name in vain a lot. It’s very hard to take sometimes, especially on a Friday afternoon.

Dear Jesus, please bless Shannin with the patience and perseverance to complete this workday and all others that will challenge her.
Let her be a good Christian example to her co-workers. Please enlighten her boss that it is not appropriate to take Our Lord’s name in vain, that he may be mindful of You.

Bless Shannin with a restful and peaceful weekend ( and a bouquet of flowers would be extra great too).

Hope your day is better shannin. Just to add my two cents on this awesome thread!
I think the way the women ganged up on Toral was unprofessional, but Toral definately needed to take on more responsibility and totally failed. Yes, there is an obvious clique but she can’t let that be an excuse to not perform. Cream rises to the top and Toral needed to prove herself in an obviously difficult situation - that’s what people of character do.
Just my two cents ya’ll! Love Apprentice too - I hate having to miss Martha’s Apprentice, but it’s on the same time as Lost!!!

Ohhh, I’ve been enjoying Martha’s show too.
 
I can’t wait for next week’s episode. I have formulated a theory on the outcome of next week’s episode. Actually, it is my brother’s theory, and it is very good.

On the preview for next week’s episode, we are shown glimpses of Jennifer M. mispronouncing “Zathura”. (BTW, that looks like a really dumb movie). We are also shown a shot of Jennifer M. crying in front of Markus. The theory is that the women’s team will lose next week because why would Jennifer M. be crying if the men’s team lost? I think that the JenM. crying scene will take place after the assignment when the losing team’s members try to obtain support from other people.

Also, I recorded last week’s episode. Watched it twice. Alla, Christie, Jen.M, and Paris Hilton all act like 14 year old girls. Especially in last week’s boardroom. They are never going to get hired; they fool themselves.
 
Did anyone appreciate Donald’s rudeness toward Adam, the Jewish kid from Atlanta? (That’s how he refers to himself.)

Since this is supposedly “not a game, but an interview” when are future employers allowed to ask questions like, “Have you had sex before?” and “Are you a homosexual?”
