Any theological books like "Sic et Non" by Abellard?

Can anybody refer me to some books that focus on supposed contradictions in scripture, church fathers, etc.? I looked for a copy of “Yes and No” by Peter Abellard, but I can only find the latin version (and I’m sure many more theological issues have arisen since his time). Can anyone refer me to something along these lines that they think will be helpful?

I first read about Sic et Non in a book about comparative religions. It is very useful in that it has a lot of material about how religion is considered by scholars and some very useful tools in that regard are included. It has a section about Sic et Non and other such works. Unfortunately, the book has a horrible title, but here it is anyway:

Insights for the Age of Aquarius: a handbook for religious sanity by Gina Cermiara.

It has been used in many comp. rel. classes, including Catholic. You can get used ones on Amazon, etc, for very cheap.

The reason why I’m interested in Sic et Non is because I heard that it juxtaposes 2 apparently contradictory scripture verses, papal statements, or church fathers writings and it’s up to the reader to use their reason to show how they aren’t truly contradictory. How in depth does that book you referenced go? Is it just an overview or does it get into the specifics?

Also if anyone knows of any theological books that sound like they are similar to Abellard’s book please let me know.

It gives some specifics from S&N and others, including the Bible. It also has examples of translational considerations, etc. It is very well referenced as to all its sources and has an extensive bibliography. In any case, it is a valuable book for any Christian to have on their shelves.
