For me it’s the issue. Since I view Jesus as a normal non-divine Homo Sapiens Sapiens and I don’t believe in God’s existence.

In that case why are you here and why are you asking for evidence?

I say good day to you…

Nice, saving yourself the effort of having to prove your claims. What about @gorgias? He also asked you. What’s your excuse for not answering him? Last time I checked he’s not an atheist

Fine. I’ve checked, and there’s no evidence. There’s not a serious scientist in the world who disagrees

Well, to be fair, you did follow up your assertion of six-day creation and Noah by claiming that there was archeological evidence, didn’t you? 😉

Hmmm -it only takes one. See the story of J Harlen Bretz and the Megaflood.

Also, satellite imagery and paleocurrents show some very interesting things.

Look into the Research done by Robert Ballard.

These are for starters.

Then look into the fact over 70 cultures have a flood story.

Enuma Elish
The Epic of Gilgamesh
The Kings at Kish

Have a nice day…
Ahh… not archeological evidence, per se, but the existence of documents written in antiquity. Got it.

But… do any of these substantiate six-day creation or Noah, as you’d claimed they do? Or, do they merely tell the story of a great flood?

Uuuh, you do realize people can write down anything they want right? The passage of time does not make myths real history.

Uuuhh…

You do realize God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent and ergo nothing is outside the realm of possibility?
Seriously, I do not want to keep going back and forth…nothing is going to change your mind based on your own admissions.
So let us just both agree to go have a wonderful day and enjoy crazy hot and humid weather!

On that we may be able to agree! 😀

(unless you live in an arid and cool climate, then harrumph )

Nope. That’s not at all obvious to me. In fact the reverse is very likely true in my opinion.

I cannot believe you, of all possible people, criticize me for having blind faith. You’re most certainly having a laugh

I will let you decide in good faith…
To be honest, if you’re making the case that Gilgamesh or the Enuma Elish substantiate the first eight chapters of Genesis, then no – that doesn’t seem like a reasonable assertion. How would you make the case that they do substantiate Scriptural truth? (Aside from the fact that Genesis 5-8 speaks of a flood, and other ancient writings speak of a flood, I’m not seeing the connection.)
