Anybody else experience SSA?

Is there anyone here who experiences SSA (same-sex attraction)? This has been a problem all my life. I wonder if I am the only one…sometimes I feel so alone. Sometimes temptation is more than I can bear.
I am happily married and I try to deal with the SSA with maturity but at times it is overwhelming. I know there are a lot of guys on the forum who deal with SSA…how about any women?

From time to time, some thought or temptation passes through my head. I’ll admit, when I was fourteen or fifteen, I did briefly question my sexuality. I’ve always liked guys, but there would be times when a particular girl would stand out in my mind, and I would feel some attraction to her. However, now I just nod off those thoughts and pray to the Holy Mother for purity. I’m not married, but in a loving relationship with my boyfriend and I pray for both of us and our future spouses every night. I remind myself that the attractions are only attractions, that only God can give me the love I need, and that the guy who gave me his heart has mine as well.

I’ll pray for you. Chastity is so hard to struggle with and our society doesn’t make it easier:(
 
I know they are only thoughts and you wouldn’t act on them but because of the nature of the thoughts be sure to bring them up in your confessions. The grace you will receive will help you with it.
