Anybody else think this is cool?

I’ve seen it before. It’s a great demonstration of how the EF Mass can be celebrated with great reverence and dignity in a modern church. I have recommended it to some people who are trying to get the EF started in their parish.

Good video. It’s done every Sunday after the OF mass at the church I attend. I would like my childhood parish to offer the EF mass; what do you think, might a Scalabrinian parish ever offer this?

This video has been around for at least 4 years; maybe longer. It is a good example of how to share a church with the OF folks. We do this once a month and have for going on 5 years now.

Seen it before but it’s still really impressive.

Thankfully our parish removed the table altar from the santuary floor a few years ago and put it on wheels. For our TLM they roll it into the storage room and we use the original high altar. Apparently the pastor wanted to destroy the church’s three beautiful altars and marble altar rail in the 1970s but the parish was too poor to afford the jackhammers. Whew.

Maybe that is what Pope Francis is talking about when he speaks of the value of poverty 😉
