Okay, but the Archbishop appointed to Indianapolis by Pope Benedict XVl is not a member of that church; he’s a Bishop in the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. Not sure where you got the idea he was with the Reformed group?

Definitely not the same!
However, we now have 2 Bishops in the US with the last name of Tobin.
The Most Rev. Thomas Joseph Tobin, Bishop of Providence, RI, and of course, the Most Rev. Joseph William Tobin, the new Archbishop of Indianapolis.

If he was appointed by Pope Benedict XVl, I trust he will take his new diocese in the way of holiness. I’m sure the Holy Father made this appointment after much prayer and consideration, deciding he was the right man to lead the Archdiocese.

I figured there would be some confusion between the newly appointed Archbishop and Bishop Tobin of Providence, but didn’t realize there was even a “Reformed Catholic Church” out there, let alone one with a new “bishop”.

I think it’s my fault. It’s Joseph Tobin not Christopher. Our current administrative bishop is Christopher and my brain switched. it.
