I saw it at a B&N recently. It’s weird. They have a whole bunch of verses in green, just like Jesus’ words would be in red. I’m assuming those are supposed to be verses about how important nature is, but some of the green verses I read didn’t seem to have much of anything to do with the earth.
Ecology is literally beginning to turn into its own religion now. It’s fine to be concerned about the environment, but you shouldn’t necessarily alter your Bible in order to do it.

I have seen some of it. The passages in green concentrate on how the earth and all life is God’s creation and it should be sacred to us and we are to take care of God’s creation.I saw it at a B&N recently. It’s weird. It’s definitely become a religion to many. Just look at the ostracizing of many Scientists and Meteorologists who don’t accept it. I really don’t understand the need for it. Yes, we should take care of God’s earth and be good stewards, but having a Bible with all the verses about ecology in green text seems like major overkill to me.

I guess at moment there is that big debate of wanting to take care of the earth and better the planet with live in. I can see some of their cases with the government trying to continue further deregulation of air standards and such.
But it is not manditory so I guess if one does not want it, they don’t buy it.
