Anybodys kids participate in spelling bees?

[Odell]

My kid is a pretty good speller. Where she gets it from idk. I would like to get her involved but do not know how sence I homeschool. What are some suggestions and how do you even prepare? What are some good lessons out there and are there any particularly lessons for spelling bee competitions?

My husband has emceed our local Catholic school’s spelling bee for decades; it’s great fun for him and I’m always glad I don’t have to spell some of those words, though I loved spelling bees while in school.

Thanks for this. I have been doing some research; it’s quite a bit.
