Yet, they are all doing their jobs. It is not somehow wrong to have one day when confessions are only done by appointment.

The movie parish where a priest always is sitting in the Church waiting to hear confessions just does not exist.

Well, every problem has a solution. I cannot imagine this being that common but if no parish within reasonable distance from you will reasonably accommodate your confession on a regular basis, you should call your bishop and ask him to intervene or personally hear your confession.

It doesn’t? 🙂 I wonder what they must do all day if they don’t sit in the “box”. 🤣

I’m being facetious… I know they are all super busy with sick calls, mass prep, spiritual matters, parish matters, etc. I would not want to be a priest. I complain now how many hours I work a week… the poor Fathers work non-stop.

I didn’t say it go to confession after mass. I said, speak to a priest about confession after the mass. Schedule an appointment.

Can you also, please stop insinuating that people that work at the parish are lying to you?

I am fortunate that I have several parishes in my area that have priests available.

Perhaps try another parish.
