Anyone else still praying for a definitive, resolute consecration of Russia and the implications of our shortcoming?

Politics literally do not matter. Whether the whole world becomes republics, democracies, oligarchies, dictatorships, communists, socialists, monarchies, or some other form of government— Christ remains.
There are many kinds of politics. Who becomes pope, what bishops are appointed, how The Church should interact with governments, how to deal with abuses.

Who becomes pope,
… is up to the Holy Spirit and the cardinals. If human “politics” and egos get involved, well nothing new here, as Avignon should have taught and frankly the Roman Empire before that.
what bishops are appointed,
… up to the Pope with recommendations from bishops and dioceses, with help of the Holy Spirit.
how The Church should interact with governments
…up to the Pope and the Holy See. This is a prudential matter.
how to deal with abuses.
… another prudential matter.

None of the above had one whit to do with Fatima.

I’m really sad that my trust has been damaged with the hierarchy of The Church when it comes to politics.
There is a whole hierarchy of news media and faux “Catholic” websites whose main purpose is to damage your trust in the hierarchy of the Church, when it comes to anything.

Everything infallible is just that. Yes The Church is guided by the Holy Spirit. But you can’t tell me the hierarchy is not prone to human error in it’s decisions. Even Peter the first pope made wrong choices in his leadership such as denying Christ. The Church has the fullness of truth in it’s doctrine, but as it is made up of fallible people, healthy skepticism is not a bad thing.
