Anyone else tired of this?

I’m tired of people who whine and complain at other people just because they don’t share their same beliefs, and than demand them to change their beliefs so they conform to their own.

But I know I should be patient and pray for these people.

I’m tired of people who whine and complain at other people

I am tired of seeing new threads almost daily bashing Islam & Prophet Muhammed (p).

Just a reminder that this forum has a thread for Islam bashing . So, pl visit this thread but don’t waste time , space , energy by starting anti-Islamic threads 24 X 7

When you are right, complaining that other people don’t share your views is just and an act of charity. Irritation with this truth could very well be a sign of obstinacy in sin.

Very true, however the person delivering the truth should always make sure that they do so in humility lest they end up in sin. It’s a real fine line, I know, but that line stretches two ways.

As long as said humility is understood as something other than the insipid, spineless passivity advocated by some.

To give an example: gays who whine that the Catholic Church believes homosexual acts are a mortal sin and demand the Church to change her beliefs.

It is not bashing to point out things in your own scriptures, that Muslims keep ignoring in their blind faith in Islam and Muhammad!

I am very new to this forum and am just browsing thru to see what alot of the conversations are…and I havent gotten too involved yet…but this one kind of stuck out…can I say…in a kind way, meaning no malice…that I seem to see alot of confrontation. Its almost like some desire to have an argument. I noticed one thread that was titled something to the effect of dare to all you protestants…or something along those lines…Im not quoting it perfectly…but I think, that sometimes topics are beat to death and its more to prove one’s self right. I saw yet another thread on catholic bashing…yikes…I am NOT catholic, but will not bash either. However, I dont think it is bashing if a non catholic shares the truth of God’s Word, any more than its not bashing when catholics tell non catholics their beliefs. Im sure Im going to get slammed right out of the starting gate here for what Im about to say…but I know who Jack Chick is, and I also have recently come across David Stewart’s website. These two guys are not bashers…they care for the souls of all men. okay…I know I got a little off the topic, and Im sorry…long way around the block just to say that I would be tired of constant arguements…that are counter productive.

You are right it is not bashing when a Catholic shares the truth of God’s word with someone else. It usually comes down to how it is done that turns someone off. We have to be careful with how we treat people’s beliefs. We sometimes tend to think that if we prove Protestantism wrong that that person will become Catholic. Not always the case. We may very well plant a seed of doubt which destroys their beliefs, but leaves them with nothing.

Of course this is coming from a Catholic who believes what the Church teaches but I do realize that it goes the other way as well.

I know who Jack Chick is, and I also have recently come across David Stewart’s website. These two guys are not bashers…they care for the souls of all men.

Ohh you have so much to learn. I hope you stick around. However, if you think that men like Chick are sincere than this may not be the forum for you. Even the Protestants on this forum can see what a fraud this man is. Then again maybe this is just the site you need.

No these 2 people do not care about the souls of men. They care about their own souls and care about damning people to hell.
