Anyone else's faith suffering from this crisis?

I just feel like my faith is atrophying. Not from ‘how could God let this happen?’ kind of questions but more just the lack of practice. Is anyone else feeling this?
It’s also really very important not to take any note of the peddlers of doom and despair using the covid crisis in their agenda against Pope Francis and his faithful bishops. As Christians we are a people of hope. Remember 1 Peter 3 14…Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated, 15 but in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you; 16 yet do it with gentleness and reverence.

Mine is about the same as it’s always been.
This is part of the natural world; sometimes bad things happen; and the Good Lord helps them that helps themselves.

I just don’t think the current isolation is helping any.
This is a good point. I’ve definitely noticed that some of my friends seem to react badly to isolation. They aren’t always the ones I’d expect either. Some of the extrovert hail-fellow-well-met types just continue to socialize on Zoom or whatever means they prefer to use.

I personally don’t mind, and there are even things I like about it, but I am a hermity type to begin with.

Yes this is a real danger. My hubby and I are watching Mass every Sunday and doing all the sitting/standing/kneeling as if we were really at Mass. We pray every night and are doing the First Saturdays at home (I have a post on that). Our church is open all day every day and I have been going to adore Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. All of this has actually been increasing my faith! We will be observing Holy Week very devoutly at home as well.

I find that my spiritual life is thriving in this isolation. The holy hermits were on to something. St Anthony of the Desert, pray for us!
