I’d like to share my little story with JW experience if I may.
I live in New York, out in the country on a private road and it’s marked “private road, no trespassing”
Anyway, nice day in the summer and I was gardening. Looking up I saw two people at my driveway, a man and woman, all dressed up in their Sunday best walking towards me. They had pamphlets of some sort.
I looked at them and they asked me for a moment to speak to me. I thought they might need directions of a road or something.
They started to say, “beautiful day, isn’t it”… Right there and then I knew they weren’t looking for driving directions.
I asked them what they wanted and they told me who they were and started to give my some papers.
I looked at them and quickly said to them…
“You are on a private property, with a no trespassing sign at entry point… which word didn’t you understand”…
And they started to talk again and told them to get off the property or I’ll have them arrested for trespassing.
They looked at me as if I had 4 heads and they noticed my cross on my neck and asked me what religion I was.
I told them that I was none of their business and to get off the land, which they quickly did.
Never did I see them or any of them on my property since. This happened in 1993…

Why should he/she welcome ANYONE who is trying to cleave him/her from the True Faith?Have you ever read the slander that is printed in their tracts about Catholics,the Catholic Church and our priests?
Were the Jdubs disrespectin him or her? I knocked doors and it was appalling seeing so many so-called Christians treat me as if I was of the devil. On the other hand, I thought there were many people who treated me kindly who represented their religion very well.

It’s not about harassing people. Do you really think it is the Jdubs intent to do that? They are trying to educate people who don’t have a religious background about Jesus Christ.
Perhaps on my “private proterty” sign, I should put the sign of the cross on it to let people know I’m Christian.
Yes, but He never referred to the JW’s to do so…they are so called “educating” people incorrectly.
I am guessing you are refferring to your religious education as correct.
It’s called the “Nuclear Option”. Doesn’t change hearts but ends the debate in mere seconds and gives the trigger man The Last Word.
although i treat them pretty well as i welcome them in my home both jw and mormons, i would not pass judgment on those who dismissed them quickly. Catholic Church is the Church founded by Jesus and no matter how you disagree, the early church fathers and early Christians attested to this. even during their time so many heresies & heretics existed and the jw & mormons are variants of the same roots.
