Anyone ever tried the "Centering Prayer" method?

Edwin, was that the Our Lady of Toledo Shrine? Some friends of mine, very devout Catholics, went there expecting the best and came home describing an experience similar to yours – and they commented that they felt a real sense of menace and decay about the place, as though it were not of God.

The place is Holy Love Ministries in Lorain Co., Ohio.
I got into the rosary but when I saw this centering prayer event happening, then I knew something was not right.
The woman there who claimes to have appairitions I have NEVER seen in person. The place seems very suspicious…but that is for another thread…look at ‘Appairations , the Real Ones and the False Ones’
