ANyone ever used a confirmation Stole?

I was confirmed LONG before the 1970’s…even before Vatican II and we wore the stole…I have pictures of my parents and grandparents from their confirmations as well all wearing the stole. So dont blame this one on the 70’s or vatican II for that matter.

However, it still shouldn’t have been done. It matters not what is done in secular graduation ceremonies, in the church, the stole is the sign of the clerical state, something that is impossible to have prior to confirmation.
