Anyone Going to See Pope in NYC?

I’m on the East Coast - Is anyone planning on going to see the Pope in NYC? I’m thinking/not sure of going to Fifth Avenue.
Will I see you there?
If so, where?

Yep. Tried to see him near the UN today, but no luck. Had tickets to see him at the seminary tomorrow,but forwent them when I got tickets to see him at Yankee Stadium (aka, the Cathedral) on Sunday.

So now, I am going to see the Pope at the Cathedral. Ha!

I’m on the east coast, but not near enough to NYC to be there. I have visited St. Patrick’s Cathedral many years ago, though. So… we’re now watching the LIVE Mass with great interest.

Well, sorry to say I didn’t go. I’d heard last evening they were unsure if the Pope would be in limo - or Popemobile. I didn’t want to stand for hours and not get a real glimpse of him.

As it turned out, this morning he arrived at St. Patrick’s by limo but was scheduled to continue up Fifth Ave. by Popemobile. HOWEVER, there were people standing there since 5:30 A.M. - long before I would have gotten there - those same people said they’d already found people AHEAD of them - so, sort of glad I opted for staying home.
