Anyone Have Answered-Prayer Testimonies about Saint Jude Thaddeus?

Hello brothers and sisters and friends,

I just finished a novena to Saint Jude (no answer yet), patron of hopeless causes,
and I’m doing daily prayer to him for my intentions now.
Do any of you have testimonies of answered prayers / astounding results
from your prayers to Saint Jude Thaddeus the apostle?
If so, could you kindly share them? I would love to hear from people
who have had their prayers to Saint Jude answered favorably.

Right now I’m praying to St. Jude as I’m in a desperate situation. I’ve prayed to St Jude before several times. one time I was praying that we will pass our partial thesis. I’m very thankful for his intercession. With the petition I’m praying for right now, I look forward to returning to this thread and posting my testimony, when the petition is granted I’ll go back here. I have no doubt that st Jude is praying for me.
 
Yes. During my difficult divorce some years back my ex would not let my son continue to be homeschooled, and state law in my part of the state says if both parents cannot agree on a school situation it must be public.

The idea of public school horrified me at the time and the Diosean Cathiolic schools were likely worse. There was one orthodox non-diosean school to pick from with very small classes that I thought would be perfect for a transition and they had daily Mass and weekly confession. However, my ex’s anti-Catholicism flared up for the divorce he wanted, and he said agsin absolutely not to the Catholic school.

I wanted it with all my heart so I pilgrimed 45 miles to the church and back where the school met at - St. Judes - everyday, for the duration of the St. Jude Novena I prayed, because I wanted St. Jude to know I really meant business. I begged him!

After the novena my ex still said absolutely no to Catholic School. In fact he dug his heels in harder. He had veto power by law, and he was going to use it. However, I put* all* my eggs in that basket and I was trusting St. Jude to answer it. So I stepped out in that faith in the novena I prayed. It was June, and I found an apartment near the school, in that town and side of the city where I knew no one, and enrolled him in school, and kept praying and trusting in St. Jude. The last week of summer, miraculously, my ex agreed our son could go.

So St. Jude answered my prayer! I can’t wait to talk to him about it someday.

However, it did not turn out all rosy. The school was not a good fit. That’s a whole 'nother story, and I don’t want to tell it because I do not want to defame this school as people from this area may recognize it from the description I gave. They do provide daily Mass and daily prayers and weekly confession and that is pure gold and I am so grateful my son had that for a little more than a year.

But it was quite a sacrifice I made; I put my whole everything into making that happen. I am sure St. Jude knew what was coming down but he granted my begging prayer. He couldn’t have explained it to me; I only went to him to get what I wanted. Not to listen. I didn’t know how to listen I guess. I was not able to quiet myself to listen at the time. I was too anxious and fearful.

Now I feel that so many of the plans I tried when I tried to reconstruct my life, when the old one suddenly ended, did not work. I did always what seemed best and most moral and right, but still. my plans, the best ones I could think to make, did not work out. Finally I have learned to try to listen to God, to ask Him what I should do. This is what I endeavor to do now. My next novena to St. Jude would not be, “St. Jude, make this happen!” It would be, “St. Jude, tell me what God wants me to do!”

That is a beautiful story. Thank you so much for posting it. I have found things work like that, too. We can petition God and petition for the intercession of the saints, and they will meet us where we are, but the larger lesson is to have faith in God’s plan. It’s a very difficult thing to do.

Thanks, Angels, for the kind feedback. What you said is the truth. The saints so kindly do meet us where we are. Yes, the larger lesson is to have faith in God’s plan. I made a hard thing so much harder for myself by having such a hard time with acceptance. My lawyer worked on me about the school thing too, trying to get me to accept. But that was the one thing I was going to stubbornly hang onto! Surely God would let me have one thing! How we justfiy. God wants us to give it all to Him. Then He either gives it back or gives what turns out to be better.
 
I got my drivers license and was supposed to fail hahahaha thanx Saint Jude
My grandmother sold her car on the second or third day of the novena after trying for a year ahahahahaha!

I was told in July 2011 that my family and I had to move from the apartment we were in for 9 1/2 years. I was so distraught as this was the only home my daughter every knew. I began praying to St. Jude and doing the novena. I prayed every moment I had in desperation because all the apt we found were too expensive and didn’t meet our criteria. I am happy to report that thanks to my belief and prayer to God and St. Jude we have found an apartment and will be moving in October.😃

Thank you St. Jude for answering our prayers. It is with faith in God that all will be well.

i also am saying novena to St. Jude. That is a beautiful picture of St. Jude. My brother’s confirmation name is Jude. I am looking for a statue to put in my room or a medal of St. Jude so far no luck!

I altar serve at a weekly novena to St. Jude which also includes a benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. We have a relic of St. Jude.

I have been praying for a friends marriage for about seven weeks as I venerate the relic and found out this week that she has been sober for two weeks and has moved back in. The situation is still tenuous but moving in the right direction. My friend has started going to Church - Baptist but we’ll tackle one problem at a time. 😃

A quick story… I hold the purificator and wipe off the relic as the deacon holds the relic for veneration. One week a woman who was not a regular walks up dressed in African garb. She stops in front of the relic, makes the sign of the cross and then points at the relic with a look of awe and astonishment on her face. Then she puts both hands over her heart and gets a look of adoration and bliss on her face. Then, and this is the funny part, she points at the relic with both hands. looks at the deacon and I, and with a big smile gives two thumbs like she was cheering a big play for her team at the superbowl. I thought she was going to do a touchdown dance or something. The woman obviously has a devotion to St. Jude and he has come through for her in a big way.

Her daughter approached us after the novena and said that it was her mother from Africa, didn’t speak a word of English. Somone in her family knew of her devotion and of our novena and that we had a relic and they drove all the way from the other side of Altanta to attend.

I took a picture for her daughter of her standing in front of our electronic sign out by the road which had the words “Novena to St. Jude with Bennediction of the Blessed Sacrament: Tonight @ 7:00 PM” in big red letters. The mother saw the picture on the camera and gave me a big hug.

I doubt I’ll ever see her again. Hope she is doing well in the arms of St. Jude.

I said that I will go back to this thread to post and her I am. When I was applying for work, I prayed to St. Jude that I will have the chance to be interviewed by the companies, and I did receive them, when I least expected it. I thought I would not hear feom them anymore. I continue to pray to St. Jude for my intentions. Thanks St. Jude!
 
Yes, St. Jude has always helped me even before I knew who he was. He’s very quiet in his presence but helps so much. Many times he has helped me rise above situations and see it from God’s eyes in love and glory. So beautiful. I love him he is so compassionate and has helped me through truly impossible suffering. He loves Christ so much. Praise Jesus!

Actually, Bump is used more often than just reviving old and dormant threads.
Sometimes I need to keep a prayer request alive for a full day or two,
hardly an “old” thread!! — and I will “bump” up my threads from time to time.

Ok so I know I am revitalizing an old thread, but because I’m short on cash and really can’t afford to publish a testimonial to St. Jude, I just want to make sure that his great favor he arranged for me does not go forgotten. I prayed two novenas to St. Jude and both of them gave me the help that I needed, one was financial, and the other was concerning employment.

For my finances I didn’t get a bag of money, but I did find a way to make my payments, where I didn’t have one before.

But, the most miraculous act that St. Jude facilitated for me through the intercession of Jesus Christ was a couple of months ago when I was in dire straits with my employment. I found my first real job after looking for three years, but all was not well. My new boss didn’t like me and was trying to find a way to fire me, it was right around Christmas so I started praying a novena to St. Jude to keep my job at this company and I finished the novena a week before new years eve. As luck would have it I was fired the first week of the new year, after my boss used me to complete a catalog working me long hours, 2 consecutive weeks at 80 hours, and then told me she wanted someone with more experience.

I didn’t complain, I accepted God’s will, but I have to say that I felt a little let down by St. Jude, but I just figured that it wasn’t in God’s plans that I be hired at that time. 3 weeks later I saw an add for a tech company for a marketing position, fyi I always wanted to work at a tech company :rolleyes:. I sent in my resume in a coffee cup, the office loved it, two days later I was hired and I received a 3% raise! 😃

Thank you God and thank you St. Jude! 👍 I heard he is known for arranging special bonuses to those who put their trust in God’s mercy and his intercession.

The intercession of St. Jude is real, things might not always happen the way we want it, but he definitely goes to bat for us with Jesus Christ. I also want to add a small note to this testimonial, GOD IS NOT AN ATM! :mad: I sincerely doubt, that he would grant me a selfish, stupid, materialistic intention like owning a new Porsche or an oceanfront home. Also God, will not grant a request that will lead someone to damnation, so perhaps winning a million dollars would corrupt my soul and stray me from God. But it’s not wrong to ask St. Jude to intervene to God for something we need, not want i.e. getting out of financial hardship, overcoming sin, finding a spouse, or seeking a way to move closer to our families.

Right now Im asking St. Jude to intervene for me to find me a spouse, and help me move my career forward so that I may support a family. I look forward to seeing what he can do for me, I’m a patient man for God’s will.

Thank You St. Jude!

I’m in a low couple of years. I’m a Land Surveyor. Self employed at that. Can’t hardly give my self away. 2 years ago my wife was diagnosed with cancer. The year before that my mother and long time hunting buddy died. I stayed with my wife treatment after treatment. I started a Novena after Novena to St. Jude. I have one going on now. My wife is cured of cancer. That was the first most prayer I needed answered. I’ve gotten just enough work to barely make ends meet. But ends have been met. Just the past 2 months work has started to move in from odd places. I started mowing grass with a survey client I did a job for. An old commercial client had 3 projects for me. Good projects, but payment can be slow. Out of the blue I called an old friend asking what he was doing, and where could I find some work. He gave me a name. I called and was well received. They need my badly. My cash flow is very bad. I need enough for the simple things like gas, lunch, and dinner. Hoping I can make a draw this Friday, and have enough money to make it to then. Praying to St. Jude, Mary, and Jesus tonight, My cat comes up and drops an envelope at my feet. It’s one of those money envelopes you get for Christmas or birthdays. I pick it up and open it and there’s $15 in it from several years ago. All I can say is Thank You St. Jude!
 
St. Jude has helped me several times. Can’t give a testomonial as the subject matter is far too private. But suffice to say the situations really did seem hopeless before St. Jude.
