Anyone heard of R. A. Torrey?

He was a relatively well known evengelist in the early 1900’s. He wrote many books about prayer and held large revivals throughout the US. He helped found Moody Bible Institute and Biola.

Just curious if anyone has read his writings. (dh is related to him, though we’re both Catholic)

Certainly. I have one of his books: ashort one, about “Bible difficulties”, IIRC.​
