Hello all,
This September 5-19, 2009, I’m leading a two-week volunteer trip to Central Thailand with Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit Christian housing organization. We will be building homes for poor families who are in desperate need of decent, adequate shelter. There will also be time for some local cultural activities.
I’m still in the process of recruiting volunteers! If you, or someone you know, is interested in traveling to Thailand and changing someone’s life forever (as well as your own) then please join our team! This is a great way to make new friends, put your faith into action, and experience something new. You do not need prior housebuilding experience to join our volunteer team. Also, while both myself and my co-leader are devout Catholics, our team members do not need to be exclusively Catholic or even Christian.
