Anyone know anything about familia?

This group is moving into our city, and I have heard both good and not so good about them,our parish priest is non to eager to welcome them, and I know young couples who have joined but only lasted a few months their answers about leaving vary, so if anyone can shed some light I would be forever grateful. Thanks
 
I have never heard of this group. Why not Google the name and see what comes up?🙂
 
Must be something Canadian. 15 pages of Google without anything vaguely about a group other than a family group.

Please share with us anything you find out.
 
Thankyou for trying, I have since my first post on familia, found out that they are a group who are in some way encouraged by
Legionnaies and Regnum Christi, or in fact part of. The Legionnaire
Fathers, have their own schools in the United States. I am sure by this post you will realize I am still searching but maybe getting closer.

Obviously because you are searching from Canada yu are getting better hits than I am from a different country. Fifteen pages without anything remotely pointing to a group is not worth the search. I’ll leave it to you and learn from you.

I’m a facilitator for Familia in my Parish. It’s a truly wonderful program. The Motherhood Series is essentially 4 years, each year you and your Family Life Team ( a group of 8 or more women) study lessons based on the writing of JP II. The lessons help the group dissect his writings and learn how to apply the church teachings in our homes as wifes and mothers. You can see sample chapter at the Familia website www.familiausa.net

It has truly changed my life, increased my faith, made me a better wife and mother.
