Hey everyone!
I’ve been in dialogue with an evangelical friend about the Catholic church for awhile now. After a lot of debate, this person is skeptically researching the Catholic faith.
It seems the main issue concerning this person remains the concept of salvation. They have a OSAS view of salvation, and see things like sacraments and church membership as unnecessary to salvation.
This person recently gave me a book to read called “The Poor Catholic” by Paul Ramunni. I just started reading it, but I was wondering if anyone hear is familiar with this book or has any opinions on it.
Also, I was planning on giving a book regarding the Catholic view of salvation to this person. I was thinking of giving this person “The Salvation Controversy” by Jimmy Akin. Given the situation, can anyone think of a better book?
Thanks again for the help, and God bless everyone!!
