He gave some really good talks back in the 80’s and 90’ but there doesn’t seem to be any record of him after that time. Is anyone familiar with him?

Hi,
He’s on you tube. Put his name in search. He was teaching homosexuality is a sin and was told to stop. That was when they admitted gays who were to be celibate. Then, pediophiles
Got in .
So his one talk mentioned.
in Christ’s love,

Never got to meet him, but had friends who knew him. They thought very highly of him and believed he was wrongly persecuted for speaking out against homosexuality.

Oh, yes! He was wonderful. It was awful what the Dominicans did to him. I have several of his talks on cassette tapes, and there are a lot of them on Youtube.

One of his sayings that I have always remembered is “Satan always double-crosses his stooges!”

👍

I’ve seen one or two of his vids once on youtube. Yesterday I started reading articles on homosexuality within the Church both on lifesitenews.com and on Michael Voris’ Church Militant site. Then Googled something today and ended up on this thread about late Fr. O’Connor. A courageous man of God if ever there was one. forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=99646 Then remembered someone here had asked about this priest. And here I am.🙂

If you are referring to the American Dominican who belonged to the Chicago province of the Order of Preachers, yes, I had occasion to meet him.

I regret to tell you that his dossier reached final adjudication in Rome and it resulted in his being dismissed from the Dominican Order with loss of incardination. I do remember Father Damian was still Master at the time, so this would have had to be before the general chapter which elected Father Timothy in 1992.

I do know he has passed away. It was a number of years ago but I have no details to share in that regard.
