A Scorsese movie. Terrible suffering for those Christian missionaries. Put them on a cross at low tide at the beach. How macabre!

But, if you want a real, moving portrayal of Martyrdom, its there for you !

Yes that is it. I want to see it despite the tough scenes.
 
Do see it. It gave me enough food for thought for weeks.
